Ashtanga led class (half primary)

Tuesday 6.00 pm – 7.30 p.m.

I teach one Asthanga led class each week from my house in Balderton Newark.

Drop-in price £9 or you can buy a card giving you a block of eight classes for £7.50. The card lasts three months.

Or pay monthly on the 28th of each month.

Led classes are a good way to become familiar with the basic practice, and offer a good workout each week.  They present a good introduction to ashtanga practice.  Ideally to progress further, self practice should be done between classes.

Mysore Style  Self Practice

Tuesday 7.00 a.m. – 11.00 a.m. (last start time 9.30 a.m.)

Thursday 7.00 a.m. – 9.30 a.m. (last start time 8.00 a.m.)

The ideal way to practice Ashtanga yoga is regularly, each morning, and under the supervision of a teacher.

This is exactly what Mysore Style offers you.  You work at the pace which is suitable for you, with personal guidance, instruction and adjustments from your teacher, and over time you gradually develop your practice.

In this way of practicing it is normal to have all levels of experience and ability practicing along side each other independently. 

If you are a complete beginner to Yoga or to Ashtanga, this is the safest and best way to learn and practice.  If you are familiar with Ashtanga practice, you can use the self practice sessions, to help motivation and keep a regular practice, to receive adjustments, and get advice on your practice to go further and deeper.


Paid for with a loyalty card of eight classes or on a monthly basis, on the 28th of each month.

Moon Days and Women’s rest days

Full and new moon days are observed as holidays in the Ashtanga Yoga tradition.  Also it is advised for women to take rest during periods.
